The robust, high-capacity automatic document feeder (ADF) scans the widest range of documents in its class¹. It can scan passports ² , booklets, identity cards and large format documents.

It simplifies scanning by giving users control via a 6.9 cm backlit touchscreen that can display predefined scanning profiles as well as step-by-step guidance for cleaning and maintenance operations.

Integrated paper protection sensors also prevent documents from being damaged, and ultrasonic sensors ensure that all documents are scanned, thus preserving data integrity.

The DS-30000 comes standard with the powerful Document Capture Pro 3.0 software, which features integrated Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for creating Office-format files (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx). Numerous drivers, including TWAIN, ISIS, WIA, SANE, and ICA, enable easy integration with most electronic document management systems.

For added flexibility and convenience, the optional A4 (DS-5500) and A3 (DS-50000) flatbed scanners allow scanning of books, documents and all other types of documents.
