General Description
This Switched PDU offers advanced network control and monitoring with the ability to turn on, turn off,
recycle or lock out power to each individual receptacle, monitor site electrical conditions and remotely
monitor output power consumption.  It supports 10/100 Mbps auto-sensing for optimum communication with an Ethernet network.
Optional EnviroSense2 modules (sold separately) provide a variety of environmental monitoring
capabilities.

Protocols supported include HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, telnet,
SSH, FTP, DHCP and NTP. Individually switched outlets can be controlled in real time to remotely reboot
unresponsive network hardware or be custom programmed for user-defined power-up and power-down
sequences to ensure proper startup of interdependent IT systems and prevent inrush-related overloads as
network equipment is first energized. Unused PDU outlets can be electronically locked off to prevent the
connection of unauthorized hardware. PDU output current consumption in amps is displayed locally via
front panel current meter or remotely via web/network interface to warn of potential overloads before
critical IT mains or branch breakers trip

24 Outlets Dispense Clean Power During normal operation, 24 individually controllable outlets—20 C13
and four C19—distribute AC power to connected equipment. Each 230V outlet is accompanied by an LED
that illuminates when the outlet is ramped up and ready to be used. The outlets are split into two load
banks, each protected by a circuit breaker that trips if the bank’s connected load exceeds its maximum
load rating. Plug-lock insert sleeves are included to prevent connected cables from becoming accidentally
dislodged.

Digital Load Meter Helps Prevent Potentially Expensive Overloads A digital ammeter reports the load
for each outlet bank separately and the total connected load. Monitoring amperage helps ensure load
levels remain well below maximum capacity with no danger of overload that could lead to costly downtime
or damaged equipment. The firmware can be easily upgraded to ensure the PDU continues to perform at
its best as connected equipment adds new features.

Built-In LX Platform Network Management Card Allows Remote Access 24/7 The built-in
WEBCARDLX with the latest version of PowerAlert Device Manager firmware (PADM20) provides
enhanced remote management capabilities, including customizable dashboard graphs to fit user
preferences. The PADM20 upgrade and PowerAlert Element Manager (PAEM) software form a powerful
tool for expanding maintenance functions in large installations, including firmware update checks and
backup and restoration of device configurations. PADM20’s Auto Probe feature allows a PDU with
switched loads to automatically reboot devices if a network communication failure is detected. This
preserves uptime and minimizes the time and expense associated with on-site support.Easy to Install
Vertically in an EIA-Standard 19 in. RackThe 0U rack PDU (rPDU) mounts vertically using the included
toolless mounting buttons or the included brackets. Spare buttons are also included. Use the included
